Project Share is also grateful to the more than 250 individuals and families who provide financial gifts in support of our mission to feed the homeless and hungry of Albuquerque.

400 Community Volunteers

Volunteers Circling Before a Meal

The generosity of our volunteers continues to amaze us – time, talent and donated food/supplies.
Our guest chefs purchase, prepare and serve our famous home cooked meals–-99% of our guests rate Project Share as providing the “best food” in town.
In 2012, our volunteer guest chefs and other volunteers donated over 12,000 hours to feed the homeless and hungry who knock on our door.
These dedicated volunteers are answering their personal call to give back to our community. They are living examples of how concerned and caring residents of Albuquerque can make a real positive difference in the lives of the homeless and hungry.
Our guest chefs come from a variety of faith based organizations, businesses, civic groups and individual families:

We are proud of our in-kind volunteer donation program—our in-kind budget is greater than our cash expenditures. However, community involvement and in-kind donations are not enough. We still need dollars to pay for the basic infrastructure necessary to support our dinner program—building, heating & cooling, phone, internet, supplies, insurance and minimal staffing. We need your help.
